Success in The U.S. Educational Spanish DVD's
In partnership with Iowa State University Extension, The Hispanic Center's main objective is to provide information, in Spanish, about living in the United States in regards to taxes, healthcare, public assistance, education, finance, legal system and immigration for newly arrived residents, service providers, organizations, employee and employers, and other institutions. The DVDs intend to help break through language and cultural barriers, giving individuals tools to achieve independence and self-sufficiency, promote community involvement, and ultimately reduce potential problems that result from misunderstanding. The result is empowering immigrants with knowledge and information to live successfully in the U.S. If you or your organization wishes to borrow the DVD for a community group, please contact us.
