  • Up-to-date weekly job posting circulation

Resume Workshops

In alliance with Carnegie Mellon University, the Hispanic Center offers resume workshops for individuals with varying levels of English. Volunteers work one-on-one with clients to create a professional resume, set-up email accounts, and register participants on monster.com. The workshops are made possible by the help of bilingual volunteers and staff members from The Hispanic Center and Carnegie Mellon Human Resources department.

Hispanic Job Fairs

resume-workshopThe Hispanic Center works in collaboration with other organizations to sponsor Hispanic Job Fairs. Government agencies and private enterprises participate in these events. All job seekers are welcome regardless of race, religion, or country of origin.

"The Hispanic Job Fair at Carnegie Mellon University on May 2007 was host to 24 private businesses and 11 government agencies providing many different and insteresting opportunities for job seekers. The exhibitors expressed their interest in bringing diversity to their organizations."
